Join Friends of the Library

Friends of the Library is a nonprofit advocacy organization which supports the Library. The volunteer members advocate the library, and raise funds on behalf of the library. These funds enable the library to provide materials and programs beyond the limits of it's regular budget.

The Friends of the Monroe Library is volunteer group, which supports the library, through fundraising, volunteering in the library, and promoting the library in the community.  Their support enables the library to offer children's programming throughout the year, has enabled the purchase of 4 public use computers, has made it possible to add bookcase space so that the library can continue to enlarge its collection, and has purchased a new photocopier for the library.

The Friends meets irregularly through the year.

Everyone is invited to join the Friends and support your library.  There is no membership fee.

Contact the President, Judy Neff, for more information, at 259-2208.
